Annual Summer Picnic

Our third annual summer picnic was held on August 30th. This year we had a south of the border theme with food and drinks to match. Everyone that attended had a great time and enjoyed the BBQ thanks to our master chef. There were many side dishes brought by those who attended.

MOHAHVE SERIES BOOKS

The books to be offered here are the ones we are the most proud of, the 6 books published under the title of the Mohahve Historical Society – thus Mohahve # 1 through Mohahve # 5, plus a wonderful Index to these 5 volumes.

With the exception of the Index, all copies are reprints of the original editions, as the originals were sold out quite some time ago. The Mohahve books contain oral interviews, historical vignettes, biographies, photographs, maps, and other articles on the history of the Victor Valley and Mojave Desert. The final volume, the Index was compiled by Fran Elgin and reflects the contents of all 5 Mohahve books in the series.

The cost varies with each volume. Please be clear as to which volume you wish to order. Shipping is $3.00 for the first book and an additional .50 for each additional book ordered. State sales tax @ 8.75 % is also required.
